Woodhams Returns

Returning our Plants

We DO NOT offer a plant Guarantee - instead we offer much cheaper prices than other online plant centres.

Any genuine complaint will be considered but we can not be held liable or responsible for the plant and shrubs grown in gardens once they have left our nursery.

Sadly we cannot  guarantee plants indefinitely however, we offer a 28 day returns policy, which is fair given they are living things and i have no control over the circumstances after they have left our care.

If you wish to return an item which you have received, you have up to 28 days to return it to us. You must contact us in the first 7 days to advise that you intend to return it together with a photograph of the plant in tact.

It must be returned in the same condition that you received it, all packages are photographed before leaving the nursery as part of our commitment that we are sending out the product in the best possible condition.

Please include your order number and reason for return inside the box. Once we have received your return, your refund will be processed within 7 working days. Please note, we do not refund the original delivery cost or reimburse you for the cost of returning an item to us.

Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service unless you are returning by pallet.

If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, a restocking fee of 15% of the product cost of the refund.

Amendments & Cancellations

To amend or cancel an order which you have not yet been dispatched, please contact us with details of the order you are amending or cancelling. If you wish to cancel an order which has been received, please follow the return instructions above.

Incorrect Goods

If we sent you something you hadn't ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. If the products have been dispatched by pallet, please reject the pallet as once delivered, there will be a charge from your pallet courier to collect it again.

Damaged In Transit

Plants

If you receive a plant that you believe is in bad condition due to transit, contact us immediately, but no later than 7 days after its arrival. We request that you email us a photograph of the plant so it can be reviewed.

If the plants are delivered by pallet, they should be inspected immediately and reported to the Driver. This may mean rejecting the delivery as once the driver has delivered the pallet, the chance of recourse is limited. In the initial instance it should be reported and the driver will try to contact us through the proper channels.

With perennials, please note that outside of the growing season, plants can look bare and cut back. This is normal as to be tidy and presentable and will be ready for growing in the spring and summer.

Shrubs

If you choose deciduous shrub in the winter, it's going to turn up looking pretty bare or worse dead, it may just mean the shrub has gone to sleep for the winter and has shed its leaves. Some are kept for architectural interest in the winter for example Hydrangea Annabelle. It will come back the following year and even stronger.

If you are concerned, contact us with a photograph of the plant preferably in its packaging showing any damage for assessment and we will be in touch.
