Salvia x sylvestris Schneehugel is a hybrid species of sage that is a cross between Salvia nemorosa and Salvia pratensis. It is a perennial plant that grows to a height of up to 1.2 meters and has a spread of up to 0.6 meters. The leaves are lance-shaped and are a grey-green color. The flowers are a deep blue-purple color and are borne in whorls on the stems.
